Spot 1019 News of the World! Update: 1/05/2009
Hooray! This is an auspicious day! We have achieved a web site update in less than a year! Twelve days to spare as a matter of fact. Yes, these very words you are reading are in fact the same update of which I speak.
KA-BONG! Yeah, I know! If Awesome was Slurpee, and this page was the cup, we would all be dead of brain freeze. Suck on that Beatles, who aren't even on iTunes yet.
Oh yeah, and we posted a few more moving images on U2oob. That's right, from the swirling mists of analog video come a few tidbits of the KZSU radio show which was video taped in anticipation of this multimedia maelstrom that we like to call "Nowadays".

Spot 1019 News of the World!

OK listen up Al Gore, you better give that crazy Nobel Peace Prize back, `cause we’re giving it to Spot 1019. That’s right, for inventing time travel! You heard me, TIME TRAVEL! Sit back (or lean forward, I don’t care) and let Spot 1019 take you back to the `80’s.
Check it out, vintage performances the Spot 1019 when they were young and virile, strapping examples of gentlemanliness and stalwart defenders of truth and beauty. They should get a couple more of those Peace Prizes for that stuff too.
Just go to your favorite personal or public computer and dial YouTube. Ask the computer for “Spot 1019” and be prepared to be whisked away to a time of innocents and wonder. The 1980’s.
There’s only a couple songs there now, more to follow, maybe even one or two from the dawn of the `90’s. Mmmmmm? Interesting yes? We can laugh at the way people dressed back then from the safety of the future, but those were turbulent times, all shaky and swirling around, and their fashions reflect that.
